Pig and Turtle

Pigs and Turtles are easily my favorite animals, and a friend and his wife also share this admiration so I made them a small gift basket to enjoy!

Kirara vs. Baby

Adam and I set up the pack n' play the other day in order to get ready for baby. Looks like Kirara has claimed this to be her new bed...We'll have to use the cat net for sure once baby comes!

 



Christmas Baby Shower

Cake Pops for my sister's baby shower. It was Christmas themed so I tried to keep the colors Christmas-y as well.

 

 

I was going for letter and number blocks, but I think they could have been more square. I also made 1 baby carriage and my favorite is the foot print pop.

Chickens!

My friend Dan just finished making a very nice chicken coop and to celebrate I made him and his family a basket of chickens, chicks, and a couple eggs.

 

 

 

Maybe I will get a nice basket of fresh eggs from him once the chickens start laying!

For Beez

Long before I knew Melanie, she was given the nickname Beez. I'm not sure why or how she got the name, but I've wanted to make some cake pops for her and thought this was the perfect way to do it....

 

 

Candy melts for the wings, jimmy sprinkles for the antenna, small round sprinkles for the eyes, black candy gel for the stripes, and an edible pen to make the smile.

 

 

Of course I needed to make a few flowers for the Bumbles!

 

Oh, and I put a chocolate chip on the back for a little stinger :)

 

Soccer!

Happy Birthday to my Friend Mike and his love of Soccer!

 

 

My first time making and using marshmallow fondant! It worked great for the small pentagons :)

 

I added a few red and yellow pentagons for Mike's team. Go Deutschland!

 

To finish the soccer balls off I placed them in a box with some green "grass" and that was it.
